All of the homes Houdini offers fit into either a 20 ft or 40 ft shipping container; depending upon the quantity and products ordered. Our logistics department will help you arrange shipment from overseas to your door. This will include several shipment conversions along the way from overseas shipping to over-the-road transportation. Besides shipping charges, there will also be port tariffs, insurance and taxes that will be estimated upfront. To coordinate all these moving parts and process the appropriate paperwork, Houdini Housing charges a flat fee of 20% of the actual total shipping costs and associated fees. These charges will be due in advance as the time of order.
In most cases, it will take 60-75 days from order placement to manufacture and deliver your home to your location.
When your order arrives, you will need to inspect all the components immediately for any damage incurred during the shipping process. You will only have7 days to put in a warranty claim for damages during shipping.After that time, only defective items will be warrantied for a period of 12 months from delivery date.
