Houdini Pop-Up homes come to you 90% assembled and therefore they are considered “Kits” to be completed by the buyer. It is not considered a finished product. Therefore, you will receive a Bill-of-Sale; and not a Title or VIN number (vehicle identification number). This is important to remember when applying for permitting or registration.
Houdini Homes are an imported product and conform to ISO (International Standards)and not American standards. They also conform to the country of origin’s quality control requirements. Certificate of manufacturing standards are attached with every Bill-Of-Sale. Because Houdini Homes are not manufactured in America, they are not subject to HUD (Housing and Urban Development), ANSI (American National Standards Institute) or RVIA (RV Industry Association) certified standards. Most mobile home park installations and some RV parks require some of these standards to be met. Please consult with your local municipalities before making your purchase.
Each government municipality controls and directs the building standards, sizes and applications of residential and commercial building projects. Houdini Pop-Ups may or may not be legal in your area. Consult your local building department to make sure you are able to erect it in your area.
Because each Houdini Home is custom built, specific changes to meet codes may be possible. These requirements but must be submitted in detail in written plansat time of purchase and may incur additional costs. Once an order is placed, it may not be cancelled or refunded. Changes after the order is placed will bequoted upfront and must be paid in advance before work will continue with order.
